Overview

Collectors already buy without seeing the work — around half of high-net-worth collectors have. What has stalled is not remote demand but the format serving it: a grid of filtered JPEGs does not sell a €50,000 painting, because it destroys the three things a gallery visit provides — scale, adjacency, and a curator standing next to you.

VITRIUM Premium rebuilds those three. The space is either a digital twin of the physical gallery, scanned so that collectors recognise it and transfer the trust earned offline, or an architecture that could not be built at all — an endless enfilade, a room without gravity, a hall designed for one artist and one exhibition. The AI docent is trained on a recording of the gallery's own curator, preserving their delivery across five or more languages, answering questions about a specific work, available every hour the physical room is shut.

Trust is built into the wall label: certificate of origin, ownership and restoration history, macro and X-ray imaging. And the economics are plain — a physical room is open roughly 2,000 hours a year, 85–90% of its visitors are local, and a fair costs a quarter of a million dollars for five days. The other 6,700 hours are the product.
